4+

4+ is a dynamic and exciting annual exhibition of contemporary Scottish art and crafts.

Established in 1998 by artists Elaine Allison, Patricia Bray, Miriam Drysdale and Moira Morrison, Four Plus has gone from strength to strength. Each year a changing group of guest artists, jewellers and makers are invited to show alongside the organisers. The exhibition lasts for one frenetic weekend only and is held in early December.

Charity fundraising is an important aspect of Four Plus. 25% commission from all Four Plus sales is given to a children's charity. To date we have raised in excess of £12,000 for good causes.

After an absence of a year we are excited to host two 4+ exhibitions in 2012! The first exhibition will open on Friday 6th April for a weekend. Elaine will be hosting this time in her lovely home in Edinburgh and we will have our second outing in early December again at Patricia's house in East Wemyss.

Moira left 4+ a few years ago and we still miss her and her fantastic painting. We have missed not having a fourth member, and this year we are highly delighted to welcome a new artist to the group, Kyra Clegg who was one of our invited guests in 2010.

This year we once again support the work of CLIC Sargent.
