Four Plus is a dynamic and exciting annual exhibition of contemporary Scottish art and crafts.

Established in 1998 by artists Elaine Allison, Patricia Bray, Miriam Drysdale and Moira Morrison, Four Plus has gone from strength to strength. Each year a changing group of guest artists, jewellers and makers is invited to show alongside the organisers. The exhibition lasts for one frenetic weekend only and is held in early December.

Charity fundraising is an important aspect of Four Plus. 25% of all proceeds from sales is donated to a children’s charity, in recent years CLIC Sargent who work in the field of childhood cancer and leukaemia.

4+2009

This year we broke away from our traditional stronghold in Edinburgh, and took Four Plus to the beautiful west coast village of Plockton. Miriam Drysdale has for many years run an extremely successful gallery there, and we enjoyed bringing Four Plus to a new audience. The exhibition opened on the evening of Friday 11 December and ran until Sunday evening 13 December.

The exhibition was well supported and a great success. We were delighted to be able to send a cheque for £1800 to CLIC-Sargent.

Once again we would like to thank our loyal sponsors: Connell and Connell WS for their generous financial support, The Plockton Inn and Wine Importers for providing food and liquid refreshment.
